Sam West
Main Street Mission Pastor
I’m Sam West, pastor of Main Street Baptist Mission. I am responsible for overseeing the ministries of Main Street Baptist Mission and for shepherding the people there. I have a heart for community ministry and a desire to see the church reach out to those in need. Likewise, I have a desire to help those in need find their place in the body of Christ.
Life history:
I grew up not far from Pineville in the small town of Deville where my father has served as a pastor for over 25 years. After graduating from High School, I attended Louisiana College to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. While there, I met my wife Donisha who I married in May of 2010.
After College, I attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where I fell in love with community ministries.
Currently, I teach English as a Second Language at Bolton High School, and Donisha works as a Social Worker. We are both excited about what God is doing at Main Street Baptist Mission.
